Since we opened our doors to foreign students in 2001, our goal has always been for the student to learn in a pleasant, fun and effective way. This is why we believe that Barcelona is the ideal environment for it.
We want you to have a very positive and enriching personal experience while living in Barcelona. Our philosophy is to serve the student in a personalized way and help you in whatever you need. Our team will be happy to provide you with information on tourist visits, visas and renewals of TIE, job offers or anything that can improve your stay with us.
Our teachers are native and have completed university studies in addition to specialized courses in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE). For more information about our teachers follow this link to our Meet The Staff section of Instagram.
We mainly work with Aula books, from Editorial Difusión, although we also use other books and complementary material created by our teachers with the help of the coordinators of our department of ELE, Pilar Invernon, and our director of studies, Andrea Soares.
We also use technology in our classrooms to improve your learning. For this reason, teachers use mobile phones, tablets, laptops, projectors or interactive monitors in the classroom.
We work with small groups. The average is 8 students per class and the maximum of 12 students per class. This allows our teachers to devote more time to your needs.
In our school you will find a fully international atmosphere. We receive students from more than 100 different nationalities, so the cultural exchange between them is very natural.
In the school we have additional exercises to work grammar, vocabulary and listening comprehension, as well as preparation material for the DELE certificate in case you want to continue studying in our facilities after class.
FACILITIES
I Classrooms: 12 Classrooms and 2 Coworking spaces perfectly equipped with AACC and heating.
I Coffee: Area with sofas and tables where you can have coffee and meet other students, listen to music or simply read a magazine about culture and leisure in Barcelona.
I Dining: this area with table and chairs also has a vending machine with soft drinks, juices, cookies, snacks, and salads. Here you will also find microwaves to heat your food or products to complete your breakfast or meal for free: coffee, tea, infusions, sugar, salt, oil, vinegar, sauces and spices. Everything you need to take a coffee or lunch break at school.
I Teachers Room: this is where our teachers prepare your classes as well as take a break in between them. With a library of more than 300 books, own material and games, they have everything they need to develop their teaching activity.
I Garden: during class breaks, you can relax and practice Spanish with your classmates and teachers under the sun surrounded by plants and trees.
I Our school has four bathrooms and is adapted for students with reduced mobility and who come with a wheelchair.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
We offer a book exchange service: take a book from our library in exchange for one of yours. Our library has both Spanish and international novels, books about sports, adventures, grammar or tourist guides.
We regularly organize Language Exchanges to meet other students who are studying other languages at school.
LOCATION
We are located in the frontier of Eixample and Les Corts districts, very close to Avenida Diagonal and Francesc Macià Square. This area perfectly combines commercial, residential and green spaces.
Next to the school you will find markets, shops, gyms, banks, bars, restaurants, terraces, parks, libraries….You can easily get to sightseeing places like La Pedrera, la Sagrada Familia, Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas or the Gothic quarter by public transport in just 10 minutes.
